REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8256 - AN ACT DECLARING THE FOUNDATION DAYS AND FEAST DAYS OF THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL AND THE MUNICIPALITIES THEREIN AS SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The foundation days and feast days of the Province of Davao Oriental and the municipalities therein are hereby declared as special nonworking public holidays.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved, Lapsed into law on February 13, 1997 without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Sec. 27 (1) of the Constitution.
