REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3539 - AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS TO USE SAVINGS FROM ITS APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PERMANENT OFFICE BUILDING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The provision of any law to the contrary notwithstanding, the Commission on Elections is hereby authorized to use savings from election funds, but in no case to exceed two million five hundred thousand pesos, for the construction of a permanent office building including the necessary accessories, furnishings, and equipment facilities.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
