Petitioner contends that on March 3, 2014, it filed the instant Petition for Review seeking the reversal and setting aside of respondent's assessment for alleged deficiency documentary stamp tax for the calendar year 2009 in the amount of Php24,859.71. However, petitioner manifests that it made a voluntary payment and settled the said tax deficiency on June 4, 2014. Attached to the instant Motion is a copy of the electronically filed Payment Form (BIR Form No. 0605) evidencing the payment ofPhp25,623.89. In view thereof, petitioner prays for the withdrawal of the instant Petition for Review pursuant to Section 2, Rule 17 of the Revised Rules of Court.
