For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Court En Banc dated January 22, 2007, in Administrative Case No. 5439 entitled, "Clarita J. Sarnala vs. Atty. Luciano D. Valencia", to wit:

"ACCORDINGLY, the Court finds respondent Atty. Luciano D. Valencia GUILTY of misconduct and violation of Canons 21, 10 and 1 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) years, effective immediately upon receipt of herein Resolution "

Copy of the resolution was received by respondent on July 17, 2007 per proof of service submitted by the Process Servicing Unit of the Supreme Court.
