T O : ALL JUDGES AND CLERKS OF COURT OF THE METROPOLITAN TRIAL COURTS, MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS IN CITIES, MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS AND MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT TRIAL COURTS

SUBJECT : COMELEC RESOLUTION NO. 2832 DATED MARCH 29, 1996 RE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE REGISTRATION OF VOTERS ON APRIL 13,1996 IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAY 6,1996 SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS

Quoted hereunder for the information and guidance of all concerned is the pertinent provision of COMELEC Res. No. 2832 dated March 29,1996 re Instructions for the Registration of Voters on April 13, 1996 in connection with the May 6,1996 Sangguniang Kabataan Elections:

"Sec. 2. Petition for correction of names, inclusion/ exclusion of voters. - Petitions for inclusion/ exclusion/ correction of names of voters may be filed orvApril15to 24,1996 with the metropolitan/municipal/municipal circuit trial court concerned.The provisions of Section 138, 139, 142 and 143 of the Omnibus Election Code shall govern inclusion and exclusion proceedings."

In connection herewith, judges are DIRECTED to keep regular office hours during the period needed for the purpose of hearing inclusion and exclusion cases and they are REMINDED to decide these cases with reasonable dispatch.

Strict compliance hereof is hereby enjoined. 16 April 1996.
