REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2238 - AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE TO HOLD A LOTTERY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE "ASOCIACION DE DAMAS DE FILIPINAS"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is authorized to hold a lottery, the whole proceeds Of which shall, after deducting the payment of the prize-and expenses as provided in Republic Act Numbered Eleven hundred sixty-nine, as amended, be turned over to the "Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas" for the maintenance of its settlement house.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
