MINIMUM SALARY FOR DOMESTIC WORKERS OR HOUSEHOLD SERVICE

WORKERS (HSWs)

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Governing Board Resolution No.5, Series of 2006 established the monthly salary of all domestic workers or household workers (HSWs) deployed overseas to US$400.

In this regard,all Migrant Worker Offices (MWOs,formerly Philippine Overseas Labor Offices or POLOs are hereby reminded to verify and process only those employment documents whose salaries with currency trading or foreign exchange equivalence of US$400 or higher.

that the monthly salaries of HSWs may be paid in US$400 or its current eguivalence In view of the recent fluctuation of Asian currencies,it is hereby further advised

in the local currency. Consequently, all other skills and professions shall have a monthly salary of not lower than US$400
