REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10776 - AN ACT DECLARING MAY 8 OF EVERY YEAR AS HERMOSA DAY AND A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY AND NO CLASS DAY IN SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HERMOSA, PROVINCE OF BATAAN

AN ACT DECLARING MAY 8 OF EVERY YEAR AS HERMOSA DAY AND A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY AND NO CLASS DAY IN SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HERMOSA, PROVINCE OF BATAAN

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. May 8 of every year is hereby declared as Hermosa Day and a special working holiday and no class day in schools in the Municipality of Hermosa, Province of Bataan.

SEC. 2. For work performed on a special working holiday, an employee is entitled to his/her regular wage.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on December 1, 2014, amended by the Senate on December 14, 2015, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 25, 2016.
