RE : COURTWATCH PROJECT

The Foundation for Judicial Excellence, a private foundation under the Chairmanship of retired Supreme Court Justice Jose Y. Feria dedicated to the improvement of the justice delivery system, is currently undertaking a monitoring project named "Court Watch". The project is intended to provide data to the Foundation which annually selects outstanding trial judges. The project will highlight the positive image of trial judges whose accomplishments may have been unheralded.

Researchers of the Foundation shall be visiting selected courts to secure data on the number of cases affirmed/reversed by appellate courts as well as to observe court procedures, and the general condition of the courts.
