REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE Quezon City June 26, 2012 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 17-2012 SUBJECT : Further Amending RMO No. 9-95, as Amended, on the Submission of the BIR Form No. 1209 (Consolidated Monthly Statistical Report of Revenue Collections) TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned I. BACKGROUND One of the inputs in the preparation of the Consolidated Monthly Statistical Report of Revenue Collections by the Revenue District Office is the 1209 Report generated by the Revenue Data Center every 10th day from end of each month. To give the RDO enough time to validate the system-generated 1209 Report, deadline for the submission of the said report to the National Office has to be moved from the 5th day of the month to a later date. II. OBJECTIVE This Order is issued to amend certain provision of RMO 30-2010. III. AMENDMENT The provision of item II.A.3 of RMO No. 9-95, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: "A. The Revenue District Office shall: xxx xxx xxx
3. Submit the Consolidated Monthly Statistical Report of Revenue Collections (BIR Form No. 1209) in electronic copy to the Collection Division Chief of the Regional Office and the Chief, Statistics Division not later than the 15th day from end of each month. This report must tally with the report forwarded to the Revenue Accounting Division. To ensure veracity and accountability, the BIR Form 1209 report must be sent from the official email account of the Revenue District Officer. xxx xxx xxx." IV. REPEALING CLAUSE This Order supersedes Revenue Memorandum Order No. 30-2010 and other issuances or portions thereof, inconsistent herewith. V. EFFECTIVITY This Order shall take effect immediately.
