Subject: Extension of the Deadline for Filing Audited Financial Statements
The Monetary Board in its Resolution No. 543 dated 27 April 2006 approved the extension of the deadline for filing the audited financial statements (AFS) for the financial year ending 31 December 2005 with the BSP prescribed under Section X164.1 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks and Section 4172Q of the Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions up to 2 May 2006. This is in view of the longer time period needed to prepare the AFS due to the adoption of the new accounting standards.
