The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, through the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Institute (BSPI), is pleased to announce the schedule of courses it will conduct for thrift banks and non-stock savings and loan associations for the year 2004 at the BSP Institute, 18th Floor, Multistory Building, as follows:
Basic Course on Thrift Banking Operations
June 21 - 25, 2004
November 8 - 12, 2004
Basic Course on Non-Stock Savings and Loan Associations Operations
July 26 - 30, 2004
November 22 - 26, 2004
These offerings will be free of charge. Participants will be limited to a maximum of 50 per offering. Each bank will be allowed to send a total of four participants per offering. An accomplished nomination form (copy attached) of each participant should reach the BSPI not later than three weeks before the start of each offering. The policy of "no accomplished nomination form - no acceptance" shall be strictly enforced. Moreover, acceptance to the course shall be on a "first come - first served" basis. Nominees are advised to get confirmation of their acceptance from the BSPI not later than two weeks before the start of the course; otherwise, their slots will be given to those in the waiting list.
