REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1922 - AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES TO APPOINT TWO ADDITIONAL COUNCILORS FOR THE CITY OF MARAWI.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. To complete the number of councilors for the City of Marawi to five, in accordance with Republic Act Numbered Fifteen hundred fifty-two, the President of the Republic of the Philippines is hereby authorized to appoint two additional councilors for said city who shall serve until their successors are duly elected and qualified in the general election for 1959 or until they are removed for cause in accordance with law.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
