REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE Quezon City May 07, 2019 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 52-2019 Subject : Circularizing the Updated List of Accredited Microfinance NGOs To : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned. ______________________________________________________________________________ For information and guidance of all internal revenue officers, employees and others concerned, we are publishing herein the attached "2019 List of Microfinance NGOs with Microfinance NGO Regulatory Council (MNRC) Accreditation" and "List of Microfinance NGOs Accredited in 2018 but valid until March 31, 2019" as of April 01, 2019. Under the IRR of the Microfinance NGOs Act, a Certificate of Accreditation shall be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of issuance, unless earlier revoked by the MNRC. The Revenue District Offices, who have jurisdiction over the said list of Microfinance NGOs, are hereby reminded that Microfinance NGOs with duly issued Certificate of Accreditation from the MNRC shall be eligible to avail of the 2% gross receipt tax on income from microfinance operations in lieu of all national taxes, excluding those MFNGOs with expired accreditation from the MNRC beginning April 01, 2019.
