SUSPENSION OF ATTY. HAROLD M. HERNANDO FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW
For the information and guidance o-f all concerned, quoted thereunder are pertinent portions of the Resolution of the Third'Division o-f this Court, dated October 17, 1991,' in A. C. No. 1359, entitied "Generosa Butted and Benito Bolisay vs. Atty. Harold M. Hernando", to wit:
"The Court therefore agrees with the Solicitor-General that respondent Hernando is guilty of violation of the Canons of Professional Ethics by .representing clients with conflicting interests. We believe, however, that a heavier penalty is appropriate.
ACCORDINGLY, the Court Resolved to SUSPEND Atty. Harold M. Hernando from the practice of law for a period of five (5) months, with a WARNING, that repetition of the same or similar offense will warrant a more severe penalty."
