REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3689 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MARINE FISHERIES LABORATORY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMINOS, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MARINE FISHERIES LABORATORY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMINOS, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION. 1. There shall be established and maintained, under the supervision of the Commissioner of Fisheries, a marine fisheries laboratory in the Municipality of Alaminos, Province of Pangasinan.

SEC. 2. Such sum as may be necessary is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry into effect the purposes of this Act during the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and sixty-four. Thereafter, the sum necessary for the maintenance and operation of said laboratory shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
