AN ACT CONVERTING THE PROVINCIAL ROAD TRAVERSING THE BARANGAYS OF SAMPAGUITA, SOLANA, CAGAYAN; WARAT, PIAT, CAGAYAN; LA SUERTE, CATARAUAN, NANUCCAUAN AND BAYABAT, ALL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF AMULUNG, CAGAYAN, GOING TO BARANGAY AFUSING, ALCALA, CAGAYAN INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of thePhilippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Conversion of Provincial Road. – The provincial road traversing the barangays of Sampaguita, Solana, Cagayan; Warat, Piat, Cagayan; La Suerte, Catarauan, Nanuccauan and Bayabat, all in the Municipality of Amulung, Cagayan is hereby converted into a national road under the jurisdiction and supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department's program the improvement, repair and maintenance of the said road, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. Effectivity. - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which was originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 3, 2011 and December 18, 2012, respectively.
