AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF RODRIGUEZ (MONTALBAN), PROVINCE OF RIZAL, INTO A DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO MONTALBAN DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Rodriguez (Montalban), Province of Rizal, is hereby converted into a district office to be known as the LTO Montalban District Office.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO Montalban District Office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which is originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on September 4, 2024, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 18, 2024, and which amendment were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 21, 2025.
