REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6294 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SHRIMP CULTURE FARM AND DEMONSTRATION STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SORSOGON, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Fisheries Commissioner, a shrimp culture farm and demonstration station in the Municipality of Sorsogon, Province of Sorsogon.

SEC. 2. The Fisheries Commissioner shall appoint such personnel as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said station and culture farm.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
