SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM BEING COMMISSIONED AS NOTARY PUBLIC OF ATTY. TERESITA SESE RUELOS FOR TWO YEARS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 22 August 2016 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 7789, entitled "Gemma D. Rodriguez v. Atty. Teresita Sese Ruelos," to wit:

The Court NOTES respondent's Motion to Lift Suspension (of the Notarial Commission and Disqualification from being Commissioned as Notary Public) dated June 20, 2016.

The Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC), in its Report and Recommendation dated July 19, 2016, relative to the aforesaid motion to lift suspension, submits that based on records and evidence submitted, respondent has faithfully complied with and fully served the two (2)-years suspension and disqualification from being commissioned as notary public from January 24, 2014 to January 24, 2016 as mandated in the Resolution dated December 2, 2013.

The Court, upon the recommendation of the OBC, resolves to:

(1) LIFT the order of suspension and disqualification of respondent from being commissioned as notary public; and

(2) ALLOW respondent to file her petition anew for notarial commission before the commissioning courts of the place where she applied for before.

The said report and recommendation of the OBC is NOTED.
