AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 30 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF SAN JUAN, TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG PINAGLABANAN", IN COMMEMORATION OF THE BATTLE OF PINAGLABANAN, WHICH OCCURED ON AUGUST 30, 1996

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. August 30 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of San Juan, to be known as "Araw ng Pinaglabanan", in commemoration of the Battle of Pinaglabanan, which occurred on August 30, 1896. However, upon proclamation of the President, August 30 of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the City of San Juan.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
