SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ROBERTO M. ABAD SANTOS FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder Resolution dated 27 November 2017 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 11356, entitled "PSI Nicasio M. Salamera, et al. vs. Atty. Roberto M. Abad Santos," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated 9 July 2014 (Annex "A") as approved with modification by the Board Resolution No. XXI-2015-465 dated 6 June 2015 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS respondent Atty. Roberto M. Abad Santos from the practice of law for one (1) year.

In a Resolution dated 11 June 2018, the Court DENIED WITH FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration, which the respondent received on 15 August 2018.
