REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6230 - AN ACT CREATING BARRIO KAHUPI-AN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOGOD, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The sitios of Bood Taas, Tabunan, Hap-on, Kabugua-an, Tigbawan, Lubong Sapa, Kahupian and Pangalkagan in the Municipality of Sogod, Province of Southern Leyte, are hereby constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Kahupi-an.

The proposed barrio of Kahupi-an shall be bounded as follows:

North--Lubong Sapa Creek

East--Bulak River

South--Pan-Phil. Highway, Km. 13

WesWLayug River

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
