SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ROMEO Z. USON FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 20 June 2018 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 12025, entitled "Edmund Balmaceda v. Atty. Romeo Z. Uson," to wit:

WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Romeo Z. Uson GUILTY of violating Rules 18.03 and 16.01 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is hereby SUSPENDED FOR SIX (6) MONTHS from the practice of law effective upon receipt of this decision, and is sternly warned that a repetition of the same or similar acts will be dealt with more severely.

Let a copy of this Decision be furnished the Office of the Bar Confidant, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the Public Information Office and the Office of the Court Administrator for circulation to all courts. Likewise, a Notice of suspension shall be prominently . posted in the Supreme Court website as a notice to the general public.

The respondent, upon receipt of this resolution shall forthwith be suspended from the practice of law and shall formally manifest to this Court that his suspension has started. He shall furnish all courts and quasi-judicial bodies where he has entered his appearance a copy of this manifestation.

As per LBC Express Tract No. 1267 2326 5715, respondent thru Lorna Lamonera, received a copy of the aforesaid Resolution on 31 July 2018.
