[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11137, November 09, 2018 ]

AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 2 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS CHARTER DAY ANNIVERSARY, TO BE KNOWN AS "ADLAW HONG BUTUAN"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. August 2 of every year is hereby declared a special non working holiday in the City of Butuan, Province of Agusan del Norte, in commemoration of its charter day anniversary, to be known as "Adlaw Hong Butuan". when the holiday fails on a Saturday or a Sunday, the special nonworking day shall be observed on the Monday that follows.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
