AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO BE PAID AS COMPENSATION TO THE WIDOWS OF CERTAIN DECEASED SENATORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of seventy-two thousand pesos is appropriated to be paid as compensation to the widows of the late Senators Manuel C. Briones, Ruperto K. Kangleon, Emiliano Tirona, Esteban Abada and Jose Ozamiz, at the rate of fourteen thousand four hundred pesos each, which compensation shall not be subject to attachment, levy, execution, or any tax whatsoever.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
