REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5489 - AN ACT DIVIDING THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE INTO TWO HIGHWAY ENGINEERING DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the Province of Ilocos Norte shall be divided into two highway engineering districts: the first engineering district to comprise the First Representative District; and the second engineering district to comprise the Second Representative District, with one highway district engineer for each engineering district.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
