CL-2022-__ 032 OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR FINANCIAL SUPERVISION SECTOR To : All BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions Subject : Maya Bank, Inc. – Establishment and Commencement of Operations The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1229 dated 16 September 2021, approved the application for authority to establish a digital bank to be known as Maya Bank, Inc. (Maya Bank). The Bank was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 17 November 2021. The corresponding Certificate of Authority to Operate as a digital bank was signed by the Bangko Sentral Governor on 4 March 2022 and issued on 8 March 2022.
