REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10806 - AN ACT DECLARING OCTOBER 31 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY AND NO CLASS DAY IN SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PORAC, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY TO BE KNOWN AS "PORAC DAY"

AN ACT DECLARING OCTOBER 31 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY AND NO CLASS DAY IN SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PORAC, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY TO BE KNOWN AS "PORAC DAY"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. October 31 of every year is declared a special working holiday and no class day in schools in the Municipality of Porac, Province of Pampanga in commemoration of its founding anniversary to be known as "Porac Day".

SEC. 2. For work performed on a special working holiday, an employee is entitled to his/her regular wage.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on August 26, 2014, amended by the Senate on December 14, 2015, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 25, 2016.
