CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 2002

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, through the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Institute (BSPI), is pleased to announce the schedule of courses it will conduct for thrift banks and non-stock savings and loan associations for the year 2002 as follows:

1.  BSP Institute, 17th Floor, Multistory Building, Manila

Basic Course on Thrift Banking (2 offerings)

April 15 - 19, 2002

October 14 - 18, 2002

Basic Course on Non-Stock Saving and Loan Associations (2 offerings)

May 6 - 10, 2002

August 12 - 16, 2002

These offerings will be free of charge.  Participants will be limited to a maximum of 50 per offering.  Each bank will be allowed to send a total of four participants per offering.  Nomination of participants should reach the BSP Institute not later than three weeks before the start of each offering.  The policy of "no accomplished nomination form - no acceptance" shall be strictly enforced.  Moreover, acceptance to the course shall be on a "first come - first served" basis.  Nominees are advised to get confirmation of their acceptance from the BSPI not later than two weeks before the start of the course; otherwise, their slots will be given to those in the waiting list.
