SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. GREGORY F. BUHANGIN
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 2 August 2017 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 7110, entitled "Arthur S. Tulio v. Atty. Gregory F. Buhangin," to wit:
Considering the motion of respondent Atty. Gregory F. Buhangin to lift order of suspension dated 7 February 2017, stating that upon his receipt of the Decision dated 20 April 2016 (which suspended him from the practice of law for a period of six [6] months) on 3 June 2016, he immediately complied therewith and commenced to serve his suspension, and that he has fully served the same, and attaching therewith certifications from the lower courts of Baguio City and Benguet Province and Integrated Bar of the Philippines, all affirming that he has desisted from engaging in the practice of law during the period of his suspension from 3 June 2016 up to the said date of motion, and it appearing that based on the records and evidence submitted, respondent has fully served the order of suspension from the practice of law as mandated in the Decision dated 20 April 2016, the Court resolves to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law imposed upon Atty. Gregory F. Buhangin, and ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.
The Court NOTES the Report and Recommendation dated 23 February 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant.
