AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE SECOND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a second district engineering office in the Mountain Province comprising the municipalities of Barlig, Natonin and Paracelis located in the Municipality of Natonin to be known as the Mountain Province Second District Engineering Office.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department’s program the operationalization of the Mountain Province Second District Engineering Office, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 3, 2011 and December 17, 2012, respectively.
