TO : All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Intermediaries with Quasi-Banking Functions
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1149 dated September 30, 1997 authorized the establishment and operations of Asia United Bank Corporation.
The Certificate of Authority to Operate was signed by the Governor on October 28, 1997.
The Bank started operations on October 31, 1997
