REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5988 - AN ACT AMENDING PARAGRAPH 29.15, CHAPTER 29, SCHEDULE VI OF SECTION ONE HUNDRED FOUR OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINETEEN HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN, KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES.

AN ACT AMENDING PARAGRAPH 29.15, CHAPTER 29, SCHEDULE VI OF SECTION ONE HUNDRED FOUR OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINETEEN HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN, KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Paragraph 29.15, Chapter 29, Schedule VI of Section one hundred four of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred thirty-seven is hereby amended to read as follows;

"29.15 Polyacids and their anhydrides, acid halides, acid peroxides and peracids, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated, or nitrosated derivatives:

a. Phthalate plasticizers, esters of phthalic anhydride
