REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7515 - AN ACT CONVERTING THE LEON GANZON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALASAN, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LEON GANZON POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Leon Ganzon National High School in the Municipality of Balasan, Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a polytechnic college to be known as the Leon Ganzon Polytechnic College.
SEC. 2. The faculty and employees of the Leon Ganzon National High School, as well as all its funds, assets, equipment and facilities, shall be absorbed by the College.
SEC. 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take such steps as are necessary for the immediate conversion and operation of the College.
SEC. 4. In addition to the current appropriations of the Leon Ganzon National High School, the amount needed to carry out the provisions of this Act is hereby authorized to be appropriated in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
