The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 166 dated February 14, 1996 authorized the establishment and operation of ECOLOGY SAVINGS BANK, INC. as a thrift bank.
The Certificate of Authority to operate was signed/issued by the Governor on June 11, 1996.
The bank started operations on July 3, 1996.
