RMO No. 83-98 — Prescribes the policies and procedures for the implementation of an Automated Database for Documentary Stamps Metering Machine with Encryption Digest

REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER No. 83-98 issued November 17, 1998 prescribes the policies and procedures for the implementation of an Automated Database for Documentary Stamps Metering machine with Encryption. Those authorized to use documentary stamps metering machines will use the new metering machines with encryption after applying for registration through the supplier. Purchase and affixture of Documentary Stamps through constructive stamping on taxable documents transactions or receipts system will no longer be authorized.
