REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4954 - AN ACT CONVERTING DINAGAT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINAGAT, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, INTO A FISHERIES HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS DINAGAT FISHERIES HIGH SCHOOL.

AN ACT CONVERTING DINAGAT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINAGAT, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, INTO A FISHERIES HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS DINAGAT FISHERIES HIGH SCHOOL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Dinagat Public High School in the Municipality of Dinagat, Province of Surigao del Norte, is hereby converted into a fisheries high school to be known as Dinagat Fisheries High School. The Director of Vocational Education with the approval of the Department Head shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of the said school for the year nineteen hundred and sixty-seven.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
