CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 2002
TO: ALL NON-BANK FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WITH QUASI-BANKING FUNCTIONS
SUBJECT: PUBLICATION OF STATEMENT OF CONDITION AS OF 17 DECEMBER 2002
Pursuant to Section 61 of Republic Act No. 8791, “The General Banking Law of 2000”, a call is hereby made for the publication of your institution of its quarterly Consolidated Statement of Condition (for the NBQB and its subsidiaries and affiliates to be published side by side with the statement of condition of its head office and its branches) as of December 17, 2002, in accordance with Central Bank Circular No. 1309 dated October 14, 1991, as amended by Circular No. 208 dated August 17, 1999 and Circular Letters dated April 26 and June 27, 2000, and Circular No. 339 dated July 18, 2002. Said Consolidated Statement of Condition shall be published in any newspaper of general circulation in the country within twenty (20) banking days from receipt of call letter.
The original copy of the Consolidated Statement of Condition shall be submitted to the appropriate supervising and examination department before publication within twelve (12) banking days from receipt of this call.
A copy of the Consolidated Statement of Condition, together with the publisher’s certificate, shall also be submitted to the appropriate supervising and examining department within five (5) banking days from publication.
This Circular Letter shall take effect immediately.
