REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8926 - AN ACT CONVERTING KAPATAGAN HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX OF BARANGAY KAPATAGAN, MUNICIPALITY OF LAAC, COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE, INTO KAPATAGAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Kapatagan High School Annex of Barangay Kapatagan, Municipality of Laac, Compostela Valley Province shall be converted into and known as the Kapatagan National High School under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS).

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on March 27, 2000 and June 8, 2000, respectively.
