Amendment of Section 2377 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks and Other Financial Intermediaries — Book II
CIRCULAR NO. 128 Series of 1997
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 493 dated April 30, 1997 approved the amendment of Section 2377 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks and Other Financial Intermediaries — Book II, so as to include as item f among the financial allied undertakings wherein thrift banks may be allowed to invest in:
"f. Companies engaged in stock brokerage/securities dealer/broker, and"
and accordingly, Item f is re-lettered to g.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
