AN ACT AMENDING BANGSAMORO AUTONOMY ACT NO. 35, ENTITLED
"AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE BANGSAMORO ELECTORAL CODE OE THE BANGSAMORO AUTONOMOUS REGION IN MUSLIM MINDANAO
Be it enacted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority in Parliament assembled:
ARTICLE III
REGIONAL POLITICAL PARTIES IN THE BANGSAMORO
SECTION 1. Section 1, Article III of the Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 35 is hereby amended to read as follows:

C. Sectoral Representatives
SEC. 6. Process of Certification. -
a Sectoral organizations and sectoral wings of political parties shall submit to the appropriate certifying ministries and offices the following:
1. A verified petition for the certification of the sectoral organization or sectoral wing of a political party, signed by its head or any duly authorized representative;
2.A verified list of its members and officers affixing their names, signatures, and other pertinent details as determined by the appropriate certifying ministries and offices:
3. Its constitution and by-laws;
4. Its platform, policies, principles and legislative agenda for its sector; ang
5. Such other requirements as the appropriate certifying ministry and office may
require.
b Upon receipt of the application for certification, the appropriate certifying ministry and incomplete submission shall be subject to outright denial of the application without prejudice to refiling: office shall immediately determine the completeness of the submitted application. Ar
C Upon determination of the completeness of the application, the appropriate certifying
days from receipt of the application for certification; ministry and office shall act on the application within a non-extendible period of fifteen (15)
d The appropriate certifying ministry and office shall issue the certification upon the lapse of the fifteen (15)-day evaluation period, unless a justifiable cause exists to warrant a denial of the application. The appropriate certifying ministry and office shall issue its own internal rules covering motion for reconsideration, appeals, revocation, and such other rules that it may deem necessary. Provided, That such rules shall not affect the incumbency of a sectoral representative duly elected in the immediately preceding parliamentary election.
SEC. 7. Revocation of Issued Certification and Issuance of New Certification for Sectoral

TRANSITORY PROVISIONS ARTICLE X
SEC. 15. Section 1, Article X of the Bangsamoro Autonomy Act No. 35 is hereby amended to read as follows:

SEC. 17. Registration and Accreditation of Political Parties and Coalitions. - All existing

Appropriations. -- The amount of Five Hundred Million Pesos (PHP500,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated to augment the funds of the COMELEC for purposes of the conduct of the first BARMM Parliamentary Election and the implementation of this Act, and shall be funded from any readily available sources of funds of the Bangsamoro Government.
