SUBJECT : Partial Liberalization of the Rules on the Importation of Certain Types of Passenger Vehicles

Please be advised of the partial liberalization of the rules on the implementation of Brand New Completely Built-Up Units (CBU) of Passenger Vehicles with engine displacement of 2,800 cc or greater for gasoline-fed engines, or 3,100 cc or greater for diesel engines pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Order No. 134 dated May 31, 1993 Attached for your reference and guidance is copy of the Memorandum Order together with the implementing rules (Annex 1 thereof) prepared by the DTI.

Please note that the DTI implementing agency is the Bureau of Import Services.
