REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE Quezon City November 12, 2012 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 72-2012 SUBJECT : Information Dissemination about the Philippine Business Registry TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned For the information and guidance of all internal revenue officials, employees and others concerned, attached herewith is the copy of the official Philippine Business Registry (PBR) Brochure from the Department of Trade Industry (DTI) that will be used by all Revenue District Offices for public information dissemination. The PBR is a single business registration system that allows applicants (i.e. Single/Sole Proprietor and Corporation) to get any one or any combination or all of the following business registration: Agency Information/Data DTI* Business Name Certificate Number BIR* Taxpayer Identification Number SSS Employer's Registration Number PhilHealth Employer's Registration Number Pag-IBIG Employer's ID Number * Not applicable if registering through the SEC. The PBR is a government-initiated project that integrates the services of all agencies involved in business registration, such as the DTI, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security
