REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2034 - AN ACT ABOLISHING THE BARRIO OF HIGATANGAN, HIGATANGAN ISLAND, MUNICIPALITY OF NAVAL, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AND CREATING INSTEAD THE BARRIOS OF LIBERTAD AND MABINI IN THE SAME MUNICIPALITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The barrio of Higatangan, Higatangan Island, Municipality of Naval, Province of Leyte, is abolished and instead its sitios of Libertad and Mabini are converted into barrios of the same municipality, to be known as the barrios of Libertad and Mabini, respectively.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
