Amendments to the Financial Reporting Package on the Reporting of Deposit Liabilities by Size of Accounts

Subject: Amendments to the Financial Reporting Package on the Reporting of Deposit Liabilities by Size of Accounts

The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 767 dated 4 June 2010, approved the amendments to the reporting template of the Financial Reporting Package (FRP) issued under Circular No. 512 dated 3 February 2006, as amended, and the simplified FRP issued under Circular No. 644 dated 10 February 2009, on the reporting of deposit liabilities by size of accounts.

Section 1.  Schedule 22a of the FRP issued under Circular No. 512, as amended, and the simplified FRP issued under Circular No. 644 is amended to further break down deposit liabilities with deposit size of 15,000 and below, into three (3) deposit size categories, as follows:

The revised reporting template of the FRP and the simplified FRP are shown in Annexes A and B, respectively.

Section 2.  Banks shall report their deposit liabilities according to the format described above in the revised reportorial template of the (a) FRP (both solo and consolidated basis) issued under Circular No. 512, as amended, and (b) simplified FRP issued under Circular No. 644, starting with the reporting period ending 30 June 2010.    Banks may download the revised reporting templates from the BSP website under http://www.bsp.gov.ph/frp/templates or request these from:
