REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE Quezon City June 19, 2003 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 22-2003 SUBJECT : Warning on Spurious Tax Credit Certificate (TCC) All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned TO : Notice is hereby given that TCC No. 023309 (dated November 14, 2000 and in the amount of P17,017,927.86) purportedly in the name of Maxim Philippines Operating Corporation has not yet been issued as of this date by the One Stop Shop Inter-Agency Tax Credit and Duty Drawback Center of the Department of Finance. Thus, the said TCC may not be validly used in payment of any internal revenue tax liability or transferred/assigned/disposed of in accordance with existing internal revenue issuances. Accordingly, all internal revenue officers and employees are hereby instructed, and all taxpayers strongly enjoined, to report immediately and directly to the Office of the Commissioner, 5th Floor, BIR National Office Building, Agham Road, Diliman, Quezon City, any transaction including but not limited to the application for the issuance of Tax Debit Memo (TDM) or assignment/transfer to another party involving the TCC No. 023309, OR ANY TCC IN THE NAME OF OR TRANSFERRED FROM MAXIM PHILIPPINES OPERATING CORPORATION FOR THAT MATTER.
