REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3438 - AN ACT CONVERTING THE KABASALAN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KABASALAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, INTO A VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE KABASALAN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Kabasalan High School in the Municipality of Kabasalan, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, is hereby converted into a vocational high school to be known as the Kabasalan Vocational High School which shall offer secondary vocational courses in trades and home industry craft skills, agriculture and fishery.

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
