CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 1997
TO : All Commercial/Thrift Banks and Non-Financial Intermediaries Engaged in Quasi Banking Functions
The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1427 dated October 29, 1997 approved that effective quarter ended March 31, 1997, a Report on Auto Loans and Credit Card Receivables shall be submitted as a schedule to the Consolidated Statement of Condition by commercial/thrift banks and non-bank financial intermediaries engaged in quasi banking functions (NBQBs). Attached as Annexes A and A.1 is the format of the report and its corresponding data structure which shall be submitted electronically by commercial banks. Also attached as Annexes B and B.1 is the format of the report and its corresponding data structure which thrift banks may submit in hard copy form until diskette-file reporting is required and Annexes C and D for investment houses and financing companies with quasi-banking functions, respectively, which shall be submitted in hard copy form.
Deadline for submission of report for the quarters ended March 31, 1997, June 30, 1997 and September 30, 1997 is twenty (20) banking days from date of issuance of this Circular Letter. Report for the quarter ended December 31, 1997 onwards, shall be submitted within fifteen (15) banking days from the end of reference quarter.
