REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2184 - AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE HUNDRED FOUR, SCHEDULE XV, CHAPTER 83, HEADING NUMBERED 83.07 AND 83.15 OF REPUBLIC] ACT NUMBERED NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section one hundred four, Schedule XV, Chapter 83, Heading 83.07 of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and thirty-seven is hereby amended to read as follows:

"83.07 Lamps and Lighting fittings and parts thereof, of base metal (excluding switches, electric lamp holders, electric lamps for vehicles, electric battery or magneto lamps, and other articles falling within Chapter 85)

A. Kerosene air pressure lamps and parts thereof:

1. Assembled ad val. 65%

2. Unassembled ad- val. 20%

B. Miners' lamps and parts thereof ad val. 35%

C. Others ad val.100%

SEC. 2. Section one hundred four, Schedule XV. Chapter 83, Heading 83.15 of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:

"83.15 Welding electrodes, rods or tubes, solder in wire or rods, coated or cored with flux materials; metal brazing plates of a kind used in metallurgy:

A. Mild steel welding electrodes, coated with flux ad val. 100%

B. Other ad val.10%

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
